Rosemary A. Walker grew up and still lives in Forsyth, Georgia, where, in November of 1972, she was elected homecoming queen at her newly integrated high school. She served three terms on the Forsyth City Council and began displaying her collection of works documenting the achievements and history of the Black community in Monroe County. An annual February display of these works took shape in 2010 and continued until COVID-19. Rosemary is pleased to share her collection with a wider audience through this website.
